Read Chapter 5 & 6 in novel. Write 2 questions to be used in group discussions tomorrow. Remember that Ch. 1-6 test will be on Monday, May 1st and the Ch. 1-6 packet is due May 2nd for a quiz grade.
Read chapters 3 & 4 tonight. Write down 2 questions that you will share with your group.

Here is the updated schedule for the novel we are reading for the next few weeks. Remember - if you are absent, you are responsible for keeping up with your reading and packet work! Be mindful of due dates and Test dates. If you were absent, you are still responsible for being prepared for these assignments the day they are given out/collected in class. I am available Tuesday and Thursday during SMART BLOCK to help you with any questions/concerns you may have.

2. I sent home a team letter this week concerning our upcoming novel. We will be reading The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, by John Boyne. Please have your copy or download in class by April 19th. If you have any questions, please refer to the letter or feel free to email me.
3. Monday, April 17th, we will be going to the library for circulation. Please return any overdue books. I do require that each student has a book in my class at all time for silent reading.
